Yes, The Marshall House is known to be a noisy place, due to its wood floors and high ceilings. But there are countless tales of the apparitions of small children, and the sounds of crying babies that have been regularly reported by guests at the famous hotel. The spirits of these children are known to linger around the Marshall House, as the laughter and playful voices of the children can be heard within the building at any given moment. Sometimes, these ghostly children can be seen skipping, running and playing games through the hallway, their apparitions as a physical form. Loved the Trivia Nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and have to give a special shout out to Mr. Carleton who welcomes guests to the hotel and is always there with an amazingly cheerful demeanor, he truly is a joy to talk to. And Wayne who leads trivia Night as well as other functions is great and always available for recommendations for restaurants and things to see around Savannah. I've stayed here several times and it's always pleasant and clean. The breakfast is always phenomenal and no other hotel compares. The Marshall House is well aware of their reputation for paranormal activity.

Wonderful location, easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Nice little room, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast. Nice happy hour with wine and cheese along with a harpist.

All the color immediately washed away from her face. She later found out that this was not the first case of strange bites at The Marshall House. It's old and charming and that's really all I need. Did not use valet parking....public parking garage 1/2 block away. Staff assisted with printing out boarding pass. Every member of the staff was wonderful. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even though our windows faced Broughton Street.
